Dave Grohl is Already a Legend, But This Makes Him A God

Absolute hero. I can picture Taylor Hawkins sitting there doing his classic rock covers and one of the stage guys comes overs and taps his shoulder and just say, “Dave said he’s gunna take Freddie, you want Dave”?

Before he can even answer that confusing question, Dave Grohl is being carried out on a chair singing his half of the vocals on their cover of “Under Pressure”. This will be engraved in music folklore for a long time.

Thank you Gothenburg. That was amazing.

Ouch.

And even though Taylor Hawkins says in the video that they’re just going to play a few covers and come back at a later date, that’s not what happened. When Dave came back, they played TWENTY TWO more songs. They only played two and a half without him, for a total of 27 songs. Damn.
