Stitched Up Presents: Our Great Founder’s Rolling Stone Debut (Foos Cover White Stripes)

So when I went to Firefly In June and saw The Killers, they did a Kings of Leon. When Brandon Flowers said, “Does anyone here like Kings of Leon?”, I thought, “Maybe I should film this, in case magazines and websites pick up the story and need a video.”

But I didn’t.

Fuck me, right?

So last night at night two of #FooTimesTwo weekend (for me), Dave Grohl starts introducing the band. When he gets to bassist Nate Mendel, he starts playing the bassline to “Seven Nation Army” by The White Stripes. And next thing you know, Dave Grohl brings out his ORTHOFREAKINGPEDIC DOCTOR, and that’s when I was like, “I am not missing another fckn chance world, you’ve been too good to me lately!”

And that’s the story of my rise to fame.

Side Note:

Unless the tweet I sent to @RollingStone right after they finished the song counts, they never asked me for I sue?

Just kidding.

Or am I?

Regarding the fact that the Foo Fighters did this cover at all, pretty cool considering what Jack White did the last time he played Fenway:
