Scott Weiland Dead at 48

Sad day for ’90s music fans.

Scott Weiland, the iconic voice behind Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver, was found dead last night around 9 pm on his tour does, reportedly “dying in his sleep” according to one source.

Weiland’s struggles with substance abuse have been highly publicized over the years, most recently when the other members of Stone Temple Pilots kicked him out of the band. I’d be damned if this wasn’t in ay way drug related. May be unfair to say without knowing now, details will be released later today.

For the rest of my life I’ll walk around hearing, “AND I FEEEEEEEEEL IT!“, the lyric that probably most illustrates Weiland’s iconic style of singing.

I found out the news at about 2:30 am this morning, right after Stitched Up went off the air. Times like that that I wish I’d been looking at Twitter or Facebook or something. Would’ve loved to do a little tribute.

So I’ll just leave you with this:

Where you goin’ for tomorrow?
