Terrance Knighton Has Been Cut, Stork Saga Continues

It became crystal clear after Alan Branch’s suspension when Kuhn was given all the time with the 1’s and pot roast was banished to the bench that this was coming. In a year where the Patriots have a myriad of talent in not only the defense as a whole but also the DT position, there simply was no room for mediocrity on the depth chart. Pot Roast is a great guy and I have no doubt that another team will sign him and he’ll probably start elsewhere. Maybe if he tried harder in recruiting Kevin Durant this wouldn’t be an issue? Hm. Food for thought.

Elsewhere Bryan Stork has apparently failed his physical with the Redskins.

How the hell do you go through an entire training camp and two weeks of preseason then fail a physical for a different team? This guy wasn’t hurt or injured and didn’t miss any time, unless the Redskins version of a physical is seeing how he pronounces the surname “Theismann” or seeing if he makes any racist comments during the first meeting.

All this means is that the Patriots will cut him. What else can they do with him now?

Only other relevant news is the the Pats extended Jonathan Jones, who may th l east-best player in the front 7, for two years. Collins? Hightower? Nope. Jonathan Jones. Unless they’re planning to convert his 5’8″, sub 4.3 40 ass into another speed demon on offense, this one puzzles me.
